Downtown Phoenix’s indie film theater, FilmBar, is closing its unique place.
Like numerous theaters and other smaller enterprises, the theater has struggled for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“If you want to see it just one previous time right before we close it, we’re even now producing it offered for economical rentals via the stop of February,” FilmBar operator Kelly Aubey reported in FilmBar’s Jan. 26 newsletter.
While its indoor theater will near, Aubey recently took the flicks outside with a new outdoor theater at Pemberton PHX, also in downtown Phoenix.
The outside theater presently seats 76 with social distancing, but seating can be greater to 150 in the long term.
